The company's
unique positioning is based on the combination of Industrial Process
and know-how with different fields of expertise which are difficult
to combine:

Paper
based cards and tickets
The company has developed contactless smart cards and tickets based
on a paper inlay that provides the best cost/reliability/durability
performance of the market.

Silver
printed antenna
By printing antennas on paper using conductive silver ink, ASK has
achieved a major technology breakthrough on the market.
This enables the company to produce high volumes of cards and tickets
based on traditional printing techniques at a significantly lower
cost than any other technology available while providing better
mechanical performance and thus greater reliability of the card
at the same time. This technology is used for all types of cards
from high-end to low-end.

Dual
interface cards
The company has developed a range of dual interface cards which
can be used either as a traditional contact card on the existing
infrastructure of terminals -for example as a banking card- or as
a contactless card, making it useable for new sets of applications
such as transportation, e-purse and access control.

Quality
over ISO standards :
ASK's high quality robust cards can be measured according to the
ISO standard. ASK designs their cards to 4x the ISO standards which
signifies they successfully pass at least 4 x 1,000 cycle tests.
The company also created their own quality test called "KAS"
that stresses the card (bending, twisting in specific device) the
way it may be manipulated by the end-user.

"Damage
Traceability"
Due to the construction materials used, ASK's cards provide a visual
identification when they have been physically damaged.

Awards
& Patents
ASK has won several awards including the Best Sesames IT Award
in 2004 for SPID, its e-passport solution and the best Banking
Sesames award for its Priva'C. range in 2006. ASK's key technology
differentiators are covered by 48 patents.
